Keeping accurate records is vital for any salon. This module will guide you through conducting comprehensive verbal and written consultations with new clients, as well as properly documenting each service. You’ll cover pre- and post-treatment lotions, solutions for ingrown hairs, various hair removal methods, and the different types of waxes used in the process.

This module will introduce you to the essential products and tools required for waxing services. You’ll also learn how to set up your room and organize your workspace efficiently. We’ll guide you through the process of refilling and maintaining wax pots, along with proper cleaning and upkeep procedures.

This module kicks off the practical portion of the course, concentrating on various body areas using strip wax. We’ll start by demonstrating the correct temperature and consistency of the wax, followed by hands-on practice to help you master its application and removal. Afterward, you’ll apply strip wax to different body areas on your models and submit your work for evaluation once completed.

Like Module 5, we’ll start by covering the ideal temperature and consistency of the wax. You’ll then practice the application and removal techniques before moving on to work with your models. This module will concentrate on facial and brow waxing techniques. You’ll discover how to shape brows accurately, including finding the right arch and learning methods for cleaning up or reshaping them using both hot and strip wax. We’ll also explore waxing other facial areas such as the lip, chin, and sides of the face, showing you how to use both types of wax effectively in these regions.

In this module, we guide you through performing a full Brazilian wax on female clients. Please note that this service is optional in the course, and assessments for it are not mandatory if you choose not to offer it.

While waxing techniques for men and women have similarities, there are key differences to be aware of. This module focuses on waxing male clients, including brow waxing. You’ll learn how to handle the coarse, often multi-directional hair typical of male clients, ensuring the wax is applied and removed with precision for a smooth result, minimizing any risk of skin irritation.
